Mr. Satoshi MABUCHI, Chief Managing Principal
Mr. Mabuchi joined CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd.’s (CTII) in December 2020 and within two years held two important positions in the administrative division of the company: Deputy General Manager (2020-2022) and General Manager of Administrative Division (2022-present). Prior to CTII, Mr. Mabuchi served as the Japan Office’ Financial Controller and Representative Director of Valmet Automation K.K, a Finnish company that offers technologies, automation, and services for pulp production. He was with the company for 20 years. He also worked with Bain and Company Japan, Inc., an American management consulting firm, for two (2) years as General Affair, Accounting, and Graphics Manager. Aside from the said international firms, Mr. Mabuchi had successful stint in two (2) Japanese corporations namely: Komori Corporation (1989-1998) and Kanefusa Corporation (1984-1989). For both domestic companies, Mr. Mabuchi served as Financial Controller and as Accountant, respectively. He received his BA in Economics (major in Accounting) from Shiga University in Japan. With such educational background and thirty-five (35) years of experience in finance, accounting, and corporate administration, Mr. Mabuchi is expected to successfully carry on the vision of expanding CTII’s presence in its major country of operations, the Philippines.
Mr. Makoto MITSUKURA, Deputy Managing Principal
Mr. Mitsukura has been with CTI International Co. Ltd. (CTII) for 16 years and 7 years with CTI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CTIE). Currently, Mr. Mitsukura is the Director and Chief Operating Officer of CTI Pilipinas, Inc., a domestic subsidiary company in the Philippines that is wholly owned by CTII. CTI Pilipinas, Inc. was established in 2021 with the primary goal of supporting the expansion of CTII’s international presence in the Asia region by heightening the company’s competitiveness in the Official Development Assistance (ODA) and private sector markets as it directly promotes and engages Filipino experts in different countries in Asia through various projects in flood management, water and river management, and roads and bridges design and construction supervision. Prior to CTI Pilipinas, Inc. Mr. Mitsukura served as Manager of the Business Promotions and Planning Division of CTII in its HQ in Tokyo, a position he successfully held for 7 years. Mr. Mitsukura was also involved in several river and water management projects funded by JICA in Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia, Chile, Peru, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Kenya, Pakistan, China, Morocco, and the Philippines, as an expert in hydrology, hydraulic engineering, river planning, drainage improvement, and flood control management. Mr. Mitsukura acquired both his Master’s in Engineering and Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Tsukuba University in Japan.
Mr. Kazuyoshi FUJIMOTO, Deputy Managing Principal
Mr. Fujimoto has been with CTI International Co. Ltd. (CTII) for almost 23 years and 4 years with CTI Engineering Co. Ltd. (CTIE) as a lead Drainage / Sewerage / Water Supply Engineer that has managed several ODA projects in Japan, Seychelles, Senegal, Pakistan, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, and the Philippines. In the Philippines, Mr. Fujimoto was the Project Director of CTII’s first project with Maynilad Services Inc.’s, Construction Supervision of Valenzuela Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP), and Interceptor System in 2015. This was followed in 2018 by the largest sewerage treatment plant in the country: EPC of 205 MLD South Calaoocan, Malabon, and Navotas Water Reclamation Facility. Mr. Fujimoto’s notable stint in other countries include Drainage and Sewerage Improvement Project in Phnom Penh Metropolitan Area (Cambodia), Project for Treatment of Sewerage, Rainwater, and Waste in Kaolack City (Senegal), Study for Coastal Erosion and Flood Control Management in the Republic of Seychelles, Study on Improvement of Water Environment in Vientiane City (Laos), Study for Lahore Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage Improvement Project (Pakistan), and Bili-Bili Irrigation Project in South Sulawesi (Indonesia). Mr. Fujimoto acquired both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Kagoshima University in Japan.
